Nicola has recently completed 500 hours of Iyengar teacher training with Darrin McNally at the Kensington School of Yoga. Nicola came to yoga in her 20’s with a background in competition gymnastics and discovered that yoga provided her with new tools to explore the physical capacities of the body. As a young yoga student Nicola found yoga was much more than just a physical practice and was inspired by the sense of calmness and mental clarity she experienced after each class.
Along her journey Nicola has found that the practice of yoga can also be a little confronting and sometimes sheds light on all of our perceived physical limitations but, in the end, yoga provides us with the mental and physical tools to help work towards overcoming some of these problems.
