<p>Gentle exercise that fosters strength but with softness, resilience, and calm. Our pregnancy classes are designed to nurture a positive and open mind and body throughout the changing stages of a pregnancy.</p>
<p>All pregnant people can attend this class. Kel, brings lightness, fun, technique and education to her classes, making them accessible to everyone. Kel is a mother and wife and lives with her family in the Adelaide hills. She is a fierce warrior for self-acceptance. Particularly encouraging women, mothers to embrace the body they are in. The world needs us to step into our own unique and authentic selves, to be in our own power, not trying to squeeze into something that is not true to our own being.</p>
<p>Kel is especially passionate about educating women about their body during pregnancy, birth and beyond through yoga. She wants to help guide women on this most sacred journey and to encourage them to step into their power as life givers. There is nothing more phenomenal than bringing forth life!</p>

<p>Mums n Bub&#8217;s is a class to begin moving your body after birth in a safe and gentle way. Each class will incorporate some sharing time, yoga poses, breath work &amp; relaxation. You are welcome to bring your baby up until they are crawling. The space will give you the opportunity to connect with other women also walking the motherhood journey.</p>

<h4><strong>What to Expect:</strong></h4>

<li>To meet other mothers on the motherhood journey.</li>
<li>Breath work.</li>
<li>To do asanas (yoga poses) suitable for the postpartum body. Different options will be given depending on how many weeks postpartum students are.</li>

<h4><strong>What to Bring:</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Essentials for baby (nappy, wipes, bottle etc).</li>
<li>Mat/blanket for baby to lay on.</li>
<li>Please note &#8211; NO PRAMS &#8211; the studio is on the first floor and there is only stair access. There is no safe and secure place to leave prams at the bottom of the staircase either, so please use a baby carrier or carry your baby.</li>
</ul>
<p>All babies are welcome until they are crawling. Women are welcome to attend after their postnatal health check. This is usually 6 weeks after vaginal birth and 8-10 weeks after C-section.</p>
<h3 class="p1">Attend our General Timetable</h3>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Book in for your chosen class time on our general timetable if you can&#8217;t make our specialised Prenatal or Postnatal classes. Our team of teachers are qualified and experienced to cater for pregnant and postpartum women in their general classes. </span></p>
<ul>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">Your specific trimester of pregnancy will be catered for with appropriate yoga options and expert guidance from your teacher. You can book ahead so your teacher will be notified that you are attending their class in advance. </span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">Share with us the following details: whether you have done yoga before, your due date, any current or ongoing symptoms or conditions that you may have spoken with your doctor about, whether you are experiencing any back ache or have any issues in any other areas of the body. </span></li>
<li class="p1"><span class="s1">Little or no experience in yoga? Then choose from the following classes:&nbsp; Level 1. depending on your experience of yoga, Level 1 &amp; 2 classes. Please contact us for guidance.</span></li>
</ul>

<p>In this fast-paced world it is more important than ever to nourish mind, body, and spirit and to take time out. Unfold Yoga + Wellbeing offers a peaceful sanctuary where you can reconnect with yourself and increase strength and flexibility, and to improve posture under the guidance of our expert teachers.</p>
<p>Our Introductory Courses are ideal for complete beginners as well as those who have had a break from yoga. We run up to three Introductory Courses each term. Book ahead to reserve your place.</p>
<p>Our courses are taught using the Iyengar method, created and developed over 75 years by Yogacharya BKS Iyengar. This approach is the most widely adopted yoga method in the world, renowned for its focus on precision, alignment, sequencing, timing and the use of props.</p>
<p>Iyengar yoga is suitable for all ages, and all levels of flexibility and fitness. It is particularly beneficial in reducing mental and physical tension and building strength and flexibility. Iyengar Yoga offers a specific focus on the alignment of the body which loosens tight muscles and brings firmness and stability, improving posture and helping to decrease pain and discomfort.</p>
<p>Iyengar Yoga strengthens and aligns the posture, creating more space for the joints, bringing lightness and mobility. The balanced and focused positioning of the body and mind improves breathing patterns, circulation and concentration; they soothe the nervous system and bring emotional balance.</p>
<p>Our introductory yoga course teaches the preliminary 29 poses that form the foundation for further practice. New postures are introduced and then consolidated each week to allow you to progressively build confidence and awareness of body and breath. Yoga philosophy is also woven into the classes.</p>
