Announcing a Period of Closure
We announce a period of closure of our studio, for at least four weeks commencing tomorrow Monday 23rd March. Closing our studio is the most concrete way for us to contribute to social distancing.
These are unprecedented times in Australia so it feels right to act with civic care, conserve energy and take time to reassess.
Whilst we are implementing a pause in providing studio classes, our goal now is to look at new ways of educating and supporting you in your yoga practice. I will keep you updated with these developments in supporting you until we can safely reopen at Unfold.
Because it seems inevitable that we are going to see stronger mandated social distancing before this thing is through and that this will need to be maintained for some time, we at Unfold will create new and reliable alternatives for practicing with us.
We will pause all passes and memberships from today until the reopening of our studio so that when you are able to continue attending your pass will be re-activated.
Of course we look forward to welcoming you back to the studio but in the meantime keep an eye out for how we work on helping you with your yoga. To quote Dr Jarvis Chen from Harvard University: “yoga is a refuge and … no matter where we are on the yoga path, whether we are a beginner or a long-time practitioner, the refuge of yoga is available to us whether we are in a class or at home on our own mat.”
We will be back in touch very soon – Namaste.
